The Burj Khalifa is one of the most iconic landmarks in the world. Standing at a height of 830 m, the Burj Khalifa opens its doors to visitors to experience its height at its 124th and 148th floors. However, for visitors to At the Top, Burj Khalifa, there is some good news. There is a beautiful spiral staircase that now connects the 124th and the 125th floor, so visitors can now visit the next floor for free. The spiral staircase has 36 steps in white oak and goes on for a length of 100 meters, thus offering visibility from a slightly greater altitude than the 124th floor. The staircase has beautiful views of the city because of its glass facade and has a crystal LED chandelier, adding to the graceful interiors of the building.

The spiral staircase can allow around 150 people to pass through it at a time and is built out of 60 metric tonnes of steel, 700 sq meters of glass, and 350 sq meters of stainless steel cladding. What is interesting to note is that the construction of this special staircase was completed without disrupting the existing crowd of visitors that visit the Burj Khalifa every day. Construction of the staircase took place in 24-hour shifts and 1,200 man-hours.

An attraction called ‘Dubai – A Falcon’s Eye View’ is something that we would leave visitors to be surprised with. Emaar, the developer of the Burj Khalifa claims to offer a unique perspective of Dubai through this attraction.
