Stranger than ever before. The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been gradually presenting the universe, and the Doctor Strange sequel will finally go deeply into the strangeness.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is reaching new heights with Phase 4, and it all culminates in Doctor Strange 2, officially titled Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Doctor Strange in the Universe of Madness will continue with Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) and the effects of the events of No Way Home, in which the multiverse began to unravel.

As Strange encounters a number of Multiversal problems, including an evil version of himself, a new enemy will arise from the fragmented reality.

To face these bizarre new foes, Mickey will enlist the assistance of old friends Wong (Benedict Wong) and Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen), the latter of whom was last seen in the Disney+ series Wanda Vision, as well as new character America Chavez, played by Xochitl Gomez.

Is a Doctor Strange 2 Trailer Available?

Yes, so far, two trailers for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness have been published.

The first teaser, which featured the reappearance of Elizabeth Olsen as the Scarlet Witch and the villainous Doctor Strange, was released on December 22, 2021.

The film’s second trailer, which included a lot of new material, was released during the Super Bowl in 2022. The trailer’s most major disclosure is a glimpse of someone who seems to be Patrick Stewart reprising his role as Professor Charles Xavier from the Fox X-Men films.

Cast Of the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

Benedict Wong, Rachel McAdams, and Chiwetel Ejiofor will all return in Doctor Strange 2. Aside from Doctor Strange, the sequel will feature at least one additional Avenger.

Elizabeth Olsen has already been cast in the film, and she will be joined by Xochitl Gomez, a newbie to the MCU. According to reports, Jett Klyne and Julian Hilliard, who played Wanda’s twin sons Billy and Tommy in WandaVision, might also be seen in the film.

There has also been speculation that Tom Hiddleston may feature in Doctor Strange 2, however, this has yet to be verified. Bruce Campbell, a regular collaborator of Sam Raimi and Evil Dead actor, has also hinted that he would make a cameo in Doctor Strange 2.

Given the connection to Spider-Man: No Way Home, it’s possible that Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire, or Andrew Garfield may feature in the film.

The Super Bowl 2022 video also indicates that Patrick Stewart may appear in the film, reprising his role as Professor X for the first time since 2017’s Logan. As the release date approaches, we should have a better idea of what to expect.
