For people who want to bring out the child in them, here is some exciting news: the Dubai Eye will be the world’s largest Ferris wheel!
While the High Roller in Las Vegas currently holds the record for the world’s largest Ferris wheel, with a height of around 167 meters and a diameter of around 158 meters, the Dubai Eye will overtake this by a huge margin. The Dubai Eye will be around 260 to 262 meters tall and will have a diameter of around 250 meters.
The duration of one rotation of the wheel will span around 48 minutes while giving you the best and unparalleled view of the beautiful Dubai. Apart from the wheel, the area will also have a 4D cinema that introduces visitors to the beauty of Dubai and many entertainment and dining facilities.
The Dubai Eye will also have around 48 luxury capsules where you can enjoy beautiful views while having a simple meal or you can probably arrange for a romantic set up. Imagine proposing to that someone special on the Dubai Eye. Pretty dreamy, eh?

The world’s largest Ferris wheel is a part of Dubai’s Bluewaters Island mega-project. The project is valued at around 6 billion dirhams and will attract millions of tourists from all around the world.
