We all have been a part of the whole iPhone vs Android debate and have strongly stuck to our side. While both the operating systems have its own advantages and disadvantages, the debate still continues as to which is better. But what if I told you that you could have the best of both worlds? That’s right you can convert your iPhone into Android!
Convert your iPhone into Android? But how?
All you need is the Tendigi phone case that helps you convert your iPhone into Android.
And how does it work?
The Tendigi case has an Android development board that uses the iPhone screen as a substitute to display Android components.
Let me simplify it for you:
The case has a HiKey LeMaker Android development board that looks like this:
Because of the open-source nature of Android, Nick Lee (Tendigi’s CEO) was able to modify the board to work with a USB connection. All he had to do was connect the Android development board to a powerful battery that would run both the OS and then fit the entire setup into a 3D-printed case.
So what happens next?
The Android board uses the iPhone’s screen to project the Android display. All you have to do is access the Tendigi app and connect the case to the iPhone through a small USB cable. And voila! It successfully helps you convert your iPhone into Android. And all you have to do to get back to your iPhone is to press the Home button. It’s plain and simple!
Check it out here:
We wish the case was for sale but unfortunately it is not. For all the tech experts out there: you can try to set-up your own case by following Nick Lee’s blog post on how it works.
What do you think about this simple solution? Would you like both iOS and Android on a single iPhone? Let us know 🙂
