Marina 101, which is being constructed in the Dubai Marina area will be the world’s tallest residential tower.
Dubai is known for its high-rise buildings and houses the world’s tallest building, the iconic Burj Khalifa. The city is also the proud owner of the Burj Al Arab, the third tallest hotel in the world. Adding to the list of tall towers is the Marina 101, which will be the world’s tallest residential tower. The Marina 101 will be around 427 meters tall and will add to the high-rise skyline of Dubai.
Although the building was slated for completion in 2012, a few unavoidable delays have pushed the completion date. However, now officials have confirmed that the building will be opened by end of 2016. The Marina 101 will have beautiful views from its penthouses and the project value is around $355 million.
The world’s tallest residential tower is getting its finishing beauty touches. Another interesting thing to note is that the tower will house the famous Hard Rock Hotel. The Hard Rock Cafe and Lounge will be present on the 101st floor of the tower. The Hard Rock Hotel will occupy the first 33 floors and will have 281 rooms.
Apart from the Hard Rock Hotel, 5 restaurants are also touted to make their home there and there will also be space for the Hard Rock merchandise store. The apartments will have single, double, and triple bedrooms apart from luxury duplex penthouses.
“Finishing touches to the residences will be completed soon. Construction works on the hotel is over, only the interior design and finishing touches to the hotel is left,” – Jamil Jadallah, Managing Director
With a beautiful 360-degree view of the city from the Hard Rock Lounge at the 101st floor, the world’s tallest residential tower will be the place to go to for all the residents and visitors of Dubai.
